Early Closings and Delayed Openings

St. Raphael will follow the Bridgeport Public School System decision regarding delayed openings or early dismissals due to inclement weather or other emergency situations. There is no separate announcement for St. Raphael Academy.
Announcements will be broadcast over local radio and TV stations, and the information is available via a link from the school website. Please do not call the school, convent or the rectory, as this will unnecessarily tie up phone lines. We will also send out the information through text and phone call, as well as post on our Facebook page. If an early dismissal announcement is made we implement the dismissal procedures parents/guardians have indicated on the Dismissal Section of your online forms. You must have an emergency number listed where someone who drives can be reached.
Make sure your child knows what to do if an early closing is announced.
